About the Album

The title track from Brooklyn-based saxophonist/composer Pete Robbins' August 29th release, featuring his working sextet, Centric. Critics have already called the music "both cerebral and funky" (Time Out New York) and "an intimate sort of jazz-rock hybrid" (New York Times) with liner note author Mark F. Turner writing, "Robbins clearly has an acute understanding of jazz as an art form, but more importantly he is striving to create music that moves in new directions."
