Fiona's Comments

For jazz knitters with bendy pins and cat soup wool, itching for the unknown.

About the Album

The album features tracks dedicated to the various forms of sedition.... ie seditious thoughts. Spontaneously composed music sometimes known as seditious or free jazz created in a non-verbal environment. Many eras have been a challenge to artistic thoughts and now in 2019 non-commercial or art music is walking the line between future hopes and present authoritarianism. With a constant barrage of inhumane activity in the media mental constraints have to be overcome. The music on this cd is a free breakaway. Spontaneously composed in the studio as three like minded musicians took a moment to dance in the moonlight of free jazz in the 21st century.

All About Jazz needs your support

Donate
All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
