This is the 2nd movement from the album Secret Suite. The melody to this tune gets set up in a fanfare at the end of the previous track, The Estrangement Saga. Secret Suite lies somewhere between a multi-movement classical piece and a collection of tunes, with themes consistent throughout and a mix between through-composed and improvised music. The Straggler features solos by Nick Lombardelli on trombone, Chris Oatts on soprano sax, and Tim Brey on piano.
