Oil Barrels rumbling on Beat, Bass & Bonen first plate. Jazz, progressive rock and soul Fusing Beat, Bass & Bone announced 05.31.2016 the debut album. Three iron musician, a child is a tomboy who smeared styles and breaks boundaries. Beat, Bass & Bone made up the name implies, drummer (Markku Heikkilä), bassist (Jukka Haavisto) and trombone players (Markus Larjomaa). The band was founded in 2012 when two friends Markus and Jukka began to speak in a common band. Markus had already done comfortably trombone players careers in big bands across Europe, and the fusion jazz player Jukka has the gig calendar full. The idea of ​​the project, which could highlight their own virtuosity and test the limits of the instruments, the men completed studies started in Norway in the autumn of 2014. "In the beginning our sound was based on trombone multiphonics technology and merciless bass grooving in the spirit of Mangelsdorf-Pastorius-Mouzon trio." says Jukka. The duo returned to Finland in the summer of 2015 when Markku joined them, and poured the soup flavors of hip-hop, and gospel. The trio will test the limits of their instruments, for example, by alternating the bass guitar and the trombone roles. "Trombone warped disc multi-format melodic from percussive to abstract coloring," says Markus, whose musical passion is free improvisation and the creation of new sound worlds. Beat, Bass & Bone promises to continue the evolution, even after the plate-making, and wants to bring experiments to clubs and festivals admired and enjoyed.
