Fiona's Comments
Daniel brings a nice confident voice on the trumpet for his debut album. This song has a modern inventiveness, yet remains a pleasantly simple tune to enjoy. It's a studio album, but has the feel of a live recording. Apparently brings in a banjo for other songs on the album, which, in my mind, requires a listen to the entire album. A promising track from a new voice. Jazz from the Boston scene.
