About the Album
In April of 2019, Elliot Bild & The Zone recorded their first album at Chris's Jazz Cafe in Philadelphia. Eventually titled “ISMS”, the album was released on November 25, 2020 and featuring all original music. This track in particular, "Parallels of Latitude" really showcases the deep spirit and energy of Philadelphia's music culture! Written to feature all the band members at different points, this song really captures the unique environment and fresh sound of the vibraphone and guitar combination alongside a two horn frontline. The main theme draws inspiration from Tom Harrell, and an altered minor blues form. Thank you for listening!!
