Blinding notes like artillery fire, with a subtle groove shifting just below the surface. Recalls some of Misha Mengelberg's sound, but where Misha would shoot rapid patternless jabs at the ear, Blom comes out with the body blows. The effect does, in fact, create a sense of breathlessness... not so much fun in the ring, but sitting back and listening on a stereo, extremely fun. Nice stuff here.
