This characteristically searching solo rendition of the nostalgic "Autumn in New York," is the opening track of Ran Blake's new CD, "Ghost Tones," featuring Blake with trumpeter Peter Kenagy, trombonist Aaron Hartley, saxophonist Doug Pet, pianists Eric Lane and Jason Yeager, guitarists Ryan Dugre and Dave Fabris, violinist Rachel Massey, bassist Brad Barrett, drummer and timpanist David Flaherty, drummer, timpanist and vibraphonist Charles Burchell, and electronic musician Luke Moldof. Out June 16 on A-Side records.
