About the Album

The dazzling guitarist Joshua Breakstone not only has an instrumental style as distinct as his own fingerprint, he has also perfected a unique ensemble sound he can now call his own. "2nd Avenue", as its subtitle proudly states, finds Breakstone reconvening his cello quartet. On this album, the fleet-fingered guitarist is joined by Mike Richmond on cello. In tandem with the invaluable contributions of the bassist Lisle Atkinson and the drummer Andy Watson – Breakstone and Richmond conjoin, producing a sound as inviting as it is atypical. "2nd Ave: Blues For Imahori" is the final track on Breakstone's new CD available on Capri Records. http://www.joshuabreakstone.com/
