Fiona's Comments

Apparently Slovakia isn't cheaper than Manhattan. A floral tune for a stinky bus number; B3, flute and saxes all acting as aural deodorizer in the most pleasing way one's nose knows.

About the Album

A few years ago I moved in with a Slovak girl in Eastern Slovakia. Her mom was very religious and didn't like me. I was a little too much NYC I think for the small farming village. We broke up soon after and I took 5 buses that smelled like armpit and salami back to Prague. I wrote the song on the buses.

Personnel

Jochen Rueckert: drums; Itai Kriss: flute; John Ellis: bass clarinet; Joel Frahm: tenor; Mike DiRubbio: alto sax; Brian Charette, Hammond B3.
