Fiona's Comments

Dizzying allure of a Metheny epic with some Sheppardesque saxness. Acutely mesmerizing. Stay with it.

About the Album

This tune goes back to the debut album 'Sentience' but this live version draws off the approach taken in the second album 'Subtle Truth' -- slower, spacier. Mostly in 5/4 meter, it uses a dark, smoky Dorian mode as a foundation for exploratory improv.
