Fiona's Comments

Disconcerting and compelling. Antonioli's voice coming from a deserted place she animates with ease. Something like a beatnik Annie Ross on this track.

About the Album

Heard this first done by Jeanne Lee with Ran Blake. Using the traditional "Black is the Color" as the improvisational vehicle - it fits lyrically and emotionally to the content of Flamingos Fly.
