About the Album

Chicago native and Brooklyn-based pianist Dan Cray makes his debut on Origin Records with a new group featuring young saxophone phenom Noah Preminger, veteran drummer Mark Ferber, and long-time musical compatriot, bassist Clark Sommers. Melodic original compositions and a strong sense of thematic cohesion and rhythmic verve provide momentum to Cray's dynamic quartet outing.
