About the Album

This single is released officially on bandcamp and other platforms on April 10th. The whole Album Chaos is available on bandcamp, physically and digitally, and other platforms from May 8th. Before these dates it won't be possible to listen to it on the link. I wrote this music while studying in the european jazz masters programme between 2017-2019, living in Copenhagen, Berlin and Amsterdam. It is highly inspired by all the different people I've met and experiences I've made in these three vibrant european cities. It is also inspired by the a lot of political events that happened during this time and that often got me very upset. some of the helplessness and sadness i felt over all the terrible things happening I tried to channel into music. The music is supposed to mirror the years 2019 and 2020. It is music of the present moment. I feel in these crazy times we cannot just go on and compose music similar to jazz standards from the 50s. I often feel that these tunes were mirroring the 1950s, which is amazing and great. Since today is not 1950 but 2020 we should write music that fits to 2020. In my ears this music reflects how I feel about the world right now. Thank you very much for listening. All questions or considerations are always very welcome.
