About the Album
Helga is the name of my upright bass so I wrote a composition for her. Off of my debut album "Chapter One" which pays Homage to my bass heroes Scott LaFaro and Paul Chambers. A straight ahead record aiming to recontextualize hard bop playing in a modern setting.
