Love, love, love. Horwitz makes all the wrong notes right again. Mischievous joy.

About the Album

About The Snowghost Sessions: Composer/pianist Wayne Horvitz adds keys and electronics to his palette in a program of his piquant, appealing compositions. Longtime collaborators bassist Geoff Harper and drummer Eric Eagle are right there in the zone with him as they sometimes take the music into avant-jazz territory, sometimes keep it inside. A subtle record of grace and beauty. Audiophile recording at SnowGhost Studio in Montana. About Track 5: Apart From You #1 "The title comes from the film of the same title, a silent film that I composed a score for, released on Criterion. This was one of the first pieces Snowghost recorded, and the sound of the piano mixed with the live electronics ended up informing the approach to the whole recording." - Wayne Horvitz The Snowghost Sessions SGL1627-3; recorded in 24 bits/96kHz TRT: 51:50 Produced by Wayne Horvitz. Executive Producer: Tony Reif All works composed by Wayne Horvitz For more info: waynehorvitz.com or Songlines.com Released by: Songlines Album release date: 5 October 2018
