About the Album

From Buenos Aires (Argentina) pianist and composer Marco Sanguinetti present the new original music album "9" (available on cd and vinyl editions). The group visited USA (New York and Washington) last October 2017 and 2016, giving a few successfull concerts. Sanguinetti has been considered by both local and international press as the creator of "a new jazz genre". His album "8" (2013) was nominated for the 2014 Latin Grammy Awards. His 2016 album "Cómo desaparecer completamente" (version of Radiohead music) was included in the Best of 2016, a list by journalist Geno Thackara for www.allaboutjazz.com. Sanguinetti was selected as Best Musician, Best Pianist and Best Album of 2016 by an annual survey of Argentine jazz journalists. Now, this new album "9" shows Marco Sanguinetti in his most intensive attitude as an Argentinian music composer.
