For his debut album, “Ro,” a cross-culturally groundbreaking foray into modernism, jazz guitarist Nick Russo assembled an ensemble of eleven skilled musicians to accompany his symbiotic excursion as they fluidly run the gamut from straight-ahead to avant-garde and North Indian classical. On "Triggered," the track that begins the freeform journey, Russo is joined by Art Hirahara on Fender Rhodes, Ari Hoenig on drums, and bassist Matt Clohesy.
