About the Album

Afro Dominican Jazz Josean Jacobo explores the cultural identity of the Dominican people and blends it with jazz creating a fresh sound with explosive rhythms. "Navegando con el Viento" is the result of the mixture of Jazz and Dominican folk rhythms "Mangulina" and "Sarandunga". Roberto Lucas: alto sax; Ronald Feliz: tenor sax; Josean Jacobo: piano; Daroll Méndez: upright bass; Otoniel Nicolás: drums; Edgar Molina: folkloric Dominican percussions.
