About the Album

"Feels Like Jazz" is a cabaret song in the style of 1920's and 30's music traditions. The song tells the story of a girl in the club flipping through names of the guys she’s dealt with, and after some time they all look and feel the same. However, she gets up and manages to perform, again and again. "Feels Like Jazz" features guest vocals from Grammy-nominated vocalist Jane Monheit and is the first single from Sasha's Bloc upcoming album "Heart On Fire" due out March 17, 2015. Alex Gershman (Sasha): bass guitar; Sergei Chipenko, Jon Gilutin: piano; Brandon Fields: saxophone; Herman Jackson: piano; Nahum Zdybel: guitar; Albert Wing: saxophone, clarinet, flute; Michael Shapiro, Kevin Winard: drums; Joe Diblasi: guitar; Bob McChesney: trombone; John Daversa, Kye Palmer: trumpet; Mark Cargill: violin.
