Pretty cool. Now, given, I'm a sucker for a string quartet, and it ain't gonna matter to me whether it soars or slices; string quartets float my boat. On this Dom Minasi masterpiece, the track slices and dices, and proves that the element of dissonance doesn't preclude a tune from also being pretty.

About the Album

The Dom Minasi String Quartet came about as a result of the album Vampire's Revenge. These are the same musicians that performed as the string section on that album. Personnel: Dom Minasi (acoustic nylon-string guitar), Ken Filiano (contrabass), Jason Kao Hwang (violin), and Tomas Ulrich (cello).
