Pirraças Pueris (Self Produced) by Pãodemónio
Djent, aka tech metal, gets a summer breeze and sunglasses in Pirraças pueris -- must be adolescence. Sounds good.
The title track of the album showcases Pãodemónio's eclectic musical influences. Deriving from a “djent” atmosphere, the track develops around the dominant symmetric scale. Each of its sections is based on two different keys with an angular melody in 12/8 that induces a very particular funky swing. Fábio Almeida: alto and tenor saxophones, electronics; Nuno Trocado: electric guitar, electronics; Ricardo Pinto: keyboard; Marcelo Rúben Aires: drums and percussion.comments powered by Disqus
