Montana Bound, In Front of My Eyes

Fiona's Comments

A beautiful rhythm for a totally despicable situation. The world is watching.

About the Album

This song was recorded in 2000 and placed on Bakithi Kumalo's CD In Front of My Eyes. A very personal record....even the title refers to Bakithi receiving our youngest daughter, Daliswa, into the world. Her track is on this CD as well. Speak to me has a Uruguayan condombe rhythm underneath a sad tale about the plight of Haitian refugees risking their lives to get to the US for freedom. Thanks to CNN, we were able to understand the situation. I wrote this song in honor of so many lives lost in the ocean.
