An associate professor of jazz composition at Berklee College of Music as well as a protégé of the late great Bob Brookmeyer, Ayn Inserto has won numerous awards and commissions while producing a gloriously inventive body of work. Full of dynamic movement, striking voicings and lush harmonies, Inserto’s imaginative writing puts her at the forefront of the contemporary orchestral jazz scene.
